[Seoul Cell E08: Puppy-like] Last week we talked about words like 귀엽다 (cute) and 멋있다 (cool). But apparently… there’s another Korean expression that sounds funny when translated literally 😭 Today's Phrase 📚 강아지 같다 (gangaji gatda) = “puppy-like” 🐶 This can actually mean they’re cute, energetic, lovely. Which is funny, because if someone called me “anak anjing” in Indonesian, I’d probably be surprised and kind of offended. Well, it can only mean that language really changes depending on the culture. What's a Korean phrase that also surprised you at first??

Do you have any tips on learning vocabulary? 🐧📚 I usually use flashcards for memorizing, and write them down several times. Kebetulan emang selalu ada tugas buat bikin kalimat pendek (짧은 글짓기) dari kosakata baru (새 단어). ✍️ Aku juga terus latihan menulis Hangul biar makin rapi, terutama huruf (ㄹ) yang lumayan sulit. Plis spill juga dong kalau kalian punya cara seru buat belajar kosakata baru 😆
